I didn't realize how much we did this year until I started compiling this year in review. We hit a few milestones this year, and I accomplished most of the goals I set last year. So, here we go...2013 recap...
This year we moved out of our little apartment and bought our first house ever. We have enjoyed decorating, and we plan to do some real work this summer.
We also got a puppy through crazy circumstances and got to watch Josie adjust to her new furry "friend."
Probably the best thing about 2013 was meeting my niece Harper. She lives all the way in Maryland, so this year I tried to soak up every moment I spent with her.
One of the goals that I set last Christmas for 2013 was to spend more time with friends and family. I have really worked hard to get my photography business going over the past couple of years, and while I did spend more time with my loved ones this year than last, I still hope to spend even more time with them next year [and always]. I did get a few chances to visit and generally act a fool with my buds, and that's always fun ;).
I have also gotten to spend lots of time with my man this year traveling, moving, going on lots of Waffle House dates, making memories, and maybe also acting a fool.
Lastly, and probably not the most exciting, as the new name of my blog implies, I've spent a lot of time teaching and photo-shooting this year. You can read my full photography year in review here. I've had a great time keeping track of my lessons on my teachandshoot instagram, and I've worked my keister off shooting weddings, families, and newborns. I've neglected this blog a little bit in light of my photography blog and just being busy, but hopefully I will update more in 2014.
That's just about it. Have a wonderful New Year!
