Year Six | Decorating and Organizing the Art Room

It's time for another year!

Another art teacher gave me this idea- take photos of how the supplies are supposed to look so that it's easier during cleanup!
I found these art star rules on Pinterest [and tweaked them to work for me].
We have a detective theme this year at school, so I decided to embrace it with this mystery artist board.  There are 3 suspects with some information about each one and a few clues.
I took some of my bulletin boards for my "Art Around the World" board and the Mystery Artist board, so I decided to put clothes pins all around the room to hang up more student work this year.  For now I have some pretty rainbow paper hanging!
I still have to make a poster about the sponges [and I thought I took a closer photo of the paint brush poster, but oh well!

I really like the set up of your art room! It's a nice clean, creative space! I teach art in a K-2 building and would like to hang up more student artwork as well in my art room. How did you get the clothes pins to stay up on the wall?

Thanks! I used hot glue! It pops right off of cinder blocks.

Thank you!

Looks great! Where did you purchase all of the colored bins?

I'm with the anonymous comment, where in the world did you get an ORANGE bin!?

The bins were already there when I got the job, but I've seen them at Stone's Educational Supply store and the dollar store. They are probably on Amazon too!

I love the expectations chart. I can't read the print what are the consequences and rewards you set in place

Can you expound on your Rewards and Consequences? I can't read them in the photo! Thanks!

I bought orange and purple bins or supply caddies off of amazon. When I got to my school they only had primary colors and a few greens. I bought purple, hot pink, and orange on amazon. I love this post, thank you!
