There were some technical difficulties with my webpage, but we're back online! Here is a huge update from the art room!
Since our last update...
5th grade created Japanese Notan designs while learning about symmetry, positive and negative space, and contrast.
4th grade created self-portraits while learning about proportion and value.
3rd grade learned about texture and pattern while creating fall leaf collages, and they also learned about color value while creating oil pastel pumpkins.
2nd grade learned about texture while creating fall trees. They also reviewed lines, patterns, and warm and cool colors while creating abstract landscapes.
1st grade reviewed lines and texture while exploring the illustrations from "Where the Wild Things Are."
Kindergarten created cities while reviewing lines and shapes. Every grade has also been learning all about colors! Kindergarten learned about the primary colors while creating color wheels and some primary "squish art." They also created secondary color pumpkins and dinosaurs!
